#ChickenNBeer, every Wednesday night from 6pm

Every Wednesday night the boys have a dedicated Hip Hop RnB night at Billy’s called ‘Chicken ‘n’ Beer’. The DJs are mates of the Billy’s boys, and the music from old school classics to modern day bangers are being curated by Southern Hospitality’s co-founder DJ Rob Pursey with guest DJs including Janeen Beanz and DJ Chux among others. Southern Hospitality are well known for being able to rock ANY crowd put in front of them, with all their residencies garnering a strong following. Southern Hospitality founded the now infamous Hip Hop Karaoke London, the first of its kind in the U.K. Rob is now bringing his wealth of DJ experience to Billy and the Chicks launching Chicken ‘n’ Beer playing every Wednesday night.
#BillysIsland: Island Records Session IPA at Billy and the Chicks

Music is a passion of ours, and hopefuly you can tell our place is as much about the music as the food – which is why bringing the legendary record label Island Records Session IPA (4.5% £4.50) to the table was a no brainer.

The beer isn’t just an amazing sip, IRSIPA is the first shazam-able beer, just hover your Shazam over the IRSIPA can label (using the camera feature), and four bespoke Spotify playlists pop up:

  • ‘When The Sun Hits The Water’ – sunset reggae and acoustic cuts from Toots & The Maytals and Kiko Bun to Hozier and Nick Drake,
  • ‘Slave To The Rhythm’ – party grooves from Grace Jones and Tom Tom Club to Disclosure and DJ Shadow.
  • ‘A Taste Of Island’ tells the story of the iconic label from its roots with Bob Marley and U2 to modern day acts such as Florence + The Machine and Mumford & Sons.
  • ‘Billy’s Island’ the fourth playlist has been curated exclusively for and by us and Island Records, with a nod to reggae to see in the summer months in Soho, we’ve got tunes from Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff to JP Cooper.
